Diagnosed With Atrial Fibrulation And CCF, Lost Appetite, Short Breath, Unable To Walk. What Questions Should Be Asked To The Doctor?
My husband has been diagnosed with atrial fibrulation 24/7 and also told he has had C.C.F. on his last 6 trips to Dr. He has lost his appetite and is very fatugued short of breath and unable to walk far without struggling for breath. He is to see Heart Specialist tomorrow for second visit in a month. Blood pressure not standard two days in a row. apparently his valves need repair. What questions should we ask to get some satisfaction
Greetings, 1)Get done fresh ECG(EKG)/Understand your detailed Echocardiograph(Status of your Heart)-Which vave/Number of valves involved, your heart function(Ejection fraction).Dilated Chambers or not? 2)What is better:Medicines vs. Surgery(Repair)/Risk Benefit ratio? 3)Get drugs for symptoms of failure-diuretics/digoxin/Beta blocker-drugs dosage & Schedules as per requirement/as per clinical conditions. 4)Diet Plan 5) Activity Plan 6)Sugar level,Lipid profile are additional investigations you can opt for.
