Diagnosed With Bone TB In Hip Joint. Getting Heart Palpitation While Sleeping. ECG, ECHO Normal. Treatment?

hi, i am 28 years old and three months back, i got diagnosed with bone TB in my hip joint and from the past one month, i got palpitaton problem and my heart beat increases whille sleeping, ECG , ECHO, thyroid , lft all test are normal, doctor told me that it is due to stress and anxiety......i am taking nebistar 1.5 mg, serlift 25 mg and rivotril daily....when i will get recover fully? When my heart beat will be normal?

hello,
if the tests you mentioned above were all normal then i agree with the doctor it could be just stress related and anxiety related,
you have already been prescribed medications to reduce the symptoms that you are feeling but on a small note you should be careful on the side effects of these drugs with the anti tbs you are on, you should be going regularly doing test on the liver to avoid its toxicity
i would also suggest you see a counseller to help in telling you ways in coping with your stress

You need to have an holter monitor, which is an electrocardiogram that is attached to you and monitors your heart over a few days, this will determine if there is an abnormal heart rhythm, which will ultimately determine if your heart will be normal. I also recommend you ask your doctor to start you on an anti-anxiety drug like fluoxetine
