Diagnosed With Chlamydia, Bacterial Vaginosis, Been Spotting, Nausea And Vomiting. Refraining From Sex. What Could This Be?
I got diagnosed with clamidia on the 8th, i took my medicine and so did my bf. I also had BV and anthoer rare bacteria that is under the skin and took med for that. Me and my bf refrained from intercourse until this morning. After i had a very bad pain and felt very nauseous.. I went to the bathroom and i had spotting. I decided a shower would help so i sat in the shower and ended up vomitting. The shower seemed to help but all day i felt off and i have been spotting all day. what could this be?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Swaroop N's Response
Hello,
Hope you have taken all the drugs prescribed by the doctor ans you have undergone investigations for all the STD's. I am asking you these 2 questions to rule out other STD's and also to ensure complete remission of chlamydia and BV. It could be a symptom of an STD or a simple case of hormonal imbalance due to mental pressure. My advice to you is to wait for a day or 2. If its hormonal imbalance the spotting will generally subside. Don't be tensed. Stay calm and relaxed. If it doesn't subside then please consult a gynaecologist for complete evaluation.. Wish you good health.
