hello, im a female aged 47 yrs. In my blood reports I found a raised esr of 95 mm/hr and eosinophils 5%, lymphocytes 32% polymorphs 61%, monocytes 2%, tc 10,400cu/mm. Previously i was diagonised with diverticulosis coli.im suffering from cough with phlegm.what does the raised esr indicate?

Hi, as against the common belief ESR has no diagnostic value. High value just indicates that there is a chronic problem. You are alredy diagnosed case of diverticulosis coli. May i know whether cough with phlegm is a recent problem or for a long time ?
