Diagnosed With Eosiniphillic Fasciitis Also Having Persistent Cold And Cough Causing Severe Headache. No Relief With Medication
I am a 70 year old female diagnosed 5 years ago with eosiniphillic fasciitis. Otherwise healthy. I have had a cold with cough for 3 weeks now. The cough is sometimes uncontrollable and causes a severe headache as well as a horrible pins and needles feeling all over my body. I've been taking all sorts of cough suppressants but nothing seems to help much.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having Eosinophilic bronchitis giving you uncontrollable cough. Go for blood testing for Eosinophilia. If eosinophilic count is high then go for one course of Di-ethyl-carbamazine after consulting your doctor. This will give immediate relief from your distressing cough. Ok and take care.
