Diagnosed With Frozen Shoulder. Should There Be Pain In Arm And Shoulder Movement After Physical Therapy?

I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. The xrays didn't show anything but my arm range of motion going back and up is very limited. I started physical therapy last week. I now have more pain in arm and shoulder movement than before I started the therapy. The therapist pushes and pulls at my shoulder and the pain is really intense. Should this happen or should I just quit this doctor and go on to someone else.

Hi and thanks for the query,

It is important to appreciate the job of physiotherapy as far as far as pain control situations are concerned. It is however important to note that the results or expected outcomes might require sometime and findings cannot be immediate to alleviate all the pain. It might be necessary to be patient and also to associate other pain control measures like use of pain killers and anti inflammatory drugs. thanks and kind regards
