Diagnosed With Left Facial Paresis At Birth, Doesn't Close Left Eye Completely. Diagnosis ?
My baby was diagnoded with left facial paresis at birth. Later the doctor ruled it out considering there was improvement. But he still suspects that a cranial nerve may not have developed. My baby has one cheek a little fuller than the other and does not close her left eye completely while sleeping although it is hardly visible. What wouldbe your diagnosis?

Diagnosed With Left Facial Paresis At Birth, Doesn't Close Left Eye Completely. Diagnosis ?
Hi dear Welcome to the platform of Health care Magic Yes dear this is a congenital anomaly. I am sorry to say that,There are little chances to heal it spontaneously. Plastic surgeon to be consulted along with the ENT surgeon. They can help you in at least reducing the problem up to some extent. Physiotherapy after some corrective surgery may help you lot in normal functioning of the organ. Hope your query is answered with your satisfaction. Thankx
