Diagnosed With Liver Cirhosis And Chronic Heart Failure. Suffer From Peripheral Neuropathy. What Is Going On?
Hi, I was diagnosed with liver cirhosis and chronic heart failure 3 years ago(alcoholic cardiomyopathy). I haven't drank since, corrected my diet, upped my exercise routine and lost quite a bit of weight. I also had oedema and still suffer with peripheral neuropathy which can make walking difficult and painful at times. I have been able to live a fairly normal life otherwise. My problem is that lately I seem to be getting tired much more frequently and have to nap regularly which really disrupts my day. When ok, I have plenty energy but I am becoming fatigued much more easily. Anything I can do, or is this the way that it is going to go?
You may need more investigations. It could be low output from the heart due to Cardiomyopathy / change of liver function... It may be deficiency of vitamins or minerals... It may be electrolytes imbalance / even side effects of the drugs... A cardiologist can assess and help further.
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
