I have been diagnosed with keratitis, uvietis, iritus, and conjunctivitis in my right eye about 3 months ago after several eye problems that was going on for many months before i went to a doctor( thought it was just pink eye)I went to an eye specialist who put me on durozel drops twice a day. It cleared up in about a week. It has reoccurred twice since then, the first time just 3 weeks after finishing medicine, the second time I went about 2 months before having a problem again. I have crohns decease and the doctor said that may be playing apart in what s causing the problems. But he couldn t say for sure whether it was bacterial, viral or what was causing it. He told me the last time I went back to him that if it reoccurred again, he would probably do a biopsy or something to find out what s causing it. It recently started back up again, and it s the holidays and work, I won t be able to get into a doctor, so. Just started back with the original durozel drops( which is what he s had me do each time it reoccurred) and its doing a little better though my vision is still very blurry, it isn t as painful anymore. Now I was thinking. I know this sounds crazy, but last week I had a bad cold , and when I blew my nose, some kind of mucousy stuff came out the corner of my eye. Only my right eye which is the only eye I ve had problems with. This has happened to me before, about 2 other times, Im not sure if the eye problems started again right after that happened or not because I didn t really take note of it and didn t think it could be related. But I m wondering if this could have something to do with it? What would cause mucousy stuff to come out your eye when you blow your nose and is it possible these eye problems could be related to that? If so do you know what could possibly be done about it?
