Diagnosed With Ra Arthritis, Twisted Hip Injury, Hip Pain, Cold Fluid Sensation In Leg. Suggestions?
I have ra arthritis diagnosed since wary 1970......just within the past month I have been hiking started one half mile now up to 2-3/4 miles....I stumbled twisted my hip ever since my left hip started with extreme pain......pain in hip has gotten a but better but I now have sensation of cold fluid running down my leg from mid calf to ankle....when I touch my skin is dry
Well looking into your problem it doesnt seem to be rheumatoid arthritis related issue . You injured your hip by twisting it that led to the pain . I advise you to consult an orthopaedic surgeon and get your hip evaluated for same so that it is clear that it is just a muscle injury or there is more to the problem, probably an X Ray of the joint needs to be done. Regarding your sensation of cold fluid running down it sounds non specific and first you should sort out your hip problem . Be in touch with your rheumatologist for regular assessment of disease activity.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
