Diarrhoea After A Few Minutes Of Eating Food. Diagnosis?
Hello, About 2 weeks ago I got sick and was throwing up/liquid diahrrea. I threw up for 12 hours and had diahrrea for about 4 full days. Could not keep in liquids/food. I have since been able to hold in some food and most of the liquids I drink. However, most of the food I consume only stays in for 15-20 minutes. I get a very upset stomach and diahrrea. This has been going on for a week and a half. I have always had a weak stomach but never as consistent as it is now. Toast/crackers/popsicles have been the only food that stays in and doesn t upset my stomach. Soup/Salad/turkey/fish are a few of the foods that have come out right away after eating. I realize this could be a variety of issues. Would more specific information help with a diagnosis? Please let me know. FYI 26 year old male. Normally very healthy.
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that you are having Gastroenteritis and require urgent treatment as now there is possibility of having dehydration.
Consult your doctor and start regular treatment.
Take plenty of water, liquids and electrolytes.
Take rice, curd , coffee and buttermilk.
If require you may go for stool test for knowing causative bacteria or dysentery germs.
Ok and bye.
