Did Lot Of Lifting. Now Have Sharp Pain In Lower Back, Abdomen. Cannot Move And Walk Well. Treatment?
I recently worked a 9 hour shift that required a lot of lifting. After a good nights rest I woke up in a sharp pain in my lower back and in my abdomen, at first I thought is just my muscles that haven't been used before but now I think its something more. When I stand up staight I can't move around so well, sitting down takes me about ten minutes and in doing so the pain is horrendous, walking is also much slower and there has been a few occasions where ive needed help. Ive done my Manuel handling many times from prevoius jobs and so I lifted the items perfectly.. what should I do?
Probably you are suffering from muscle sprain due lifting of heavy weight, you may need muscle relaxant with rest. If not relieved then Xray spine and if required MRI spine can be done.
