Hi
The recommended procedure for medical abortion is taking mifepristone followed by misoprostol like cytotec 1 or two days later. If taken in this way most of the abortions happen in 4 hrs of taking misoprotol. It resembles like a heavy period. In your case 48 hrs have passed and spotting has happened. As there is a high chance that cytotec hasn't worked I would suggest you visit your gynaecologist.
Thanks
