Hi, My wife did a Ultrasound PELVIS TAS+ TVS . her uterus is anterverted and measures 7.0*4.6*3.9 and impression says Heterogeous Echotexture of Posterior myometirum ? Adenomyosis . What exactly does it mean and what are the ways to cure this ? The ultrasound was primarily done due to excess bleeding for about 6 days during her last menustration along with severe pain. As a note ,she had a ectopic pregnancy 3 month back and right fallopian tube was removed due to that.
