Difficulty In Concentration, Sleepiness, Mood Swings, Weakness, Muscle Pain, Seizures. Taking Oxetol. Side Effect?
I am taking oxetol 300 twice a day and i have some of this following side effects:- . 1)concentration or memory difficulties. 2)confusion. 3)sleepiness. 4)unstable moods. 5)weakness or loss of strength. 6)muscle pains. . 7)increased seizures.

Hi,
Oxetol contains the active ingredient Oxcarbazepine. It does cause all the above-mentioned side effects of memory difficulties, confusion, sleepiness, unstable moods, weakness, decreased co-ordination, muscle pains.
It does not cause increased seizures but decreases the occurrence of seizures.
The drug is used as monotherapy in Partial seizures.
