Difficulty In Sleeping Since Childhood. Need A Solution
Hi I been having sleeping problems since I was 10 when my grand mom and dad died. Now I m 19. Every night for the past 9 years I haven t slept a full night I wake up every night around the same times between 2:30 to 4 what s wrong . When I was younger I use to sleep with my grandmom because we shared a room and for me to go to sleep at night I would have to lay on her arm but its been 9 years

I understand you are very much attached to your grand father and grandmother. Your problems with your sleep is quite obvious. First you should try out some steps of sleep hygiene . You should stop or restrict your caffeine , tobacco and alcohol. Start some exercises and take a warm bath at night before sleep. Dont try too hard to go to sleep. In case you dont get sleep, instead of lying on bed and waiting, it is always wise to get off the bed, do some reading and wait untill you get some sleep. Watching TV at night is not a good idea. use of sleeping space exclusively for sleeping and not for any other work. keep the sleeping area, lit dimly. In case if the problem still stays , you should visit a psychiatrist who can help you with some psychotherapies which will benefit you,
