Hello, dr grief My question is this sometimes while iam reading with my head dwn I suddenly find myself asleep.not knowing what just happen and the snoring awakes me 2, Also Im having a little diffuculity swallowing my throat feels like something is at large in my esphorgus like a piece of flesh Several years ago One of my dr notice that some trace of my tonsil start to grow back Is this possible that my tonsill maybe returning even though my tonsill were removed when i was just five
tonsils if removed correctly cannot cause this it is associated with chronic sinusitis in which there is turbinate hypertrophy leading to blockage and snoring the post nasal drip can cause irritation of throat and inflamation of pharyngealmucosa and post nasal drip can fallin oesophagus and give oesophageal symptompd and there is also gerd causing same need to get xray pns waters view and consult ent doctor for right management
