What Causes Recurrent Sore Throat, floaters In Vision And Trouble In Breathing?

I have had bad breath for a few months, however I have good oral hygiene. I suffer from pains in my lower abdomin quite frequently for a number of years, I now have difficulty breathing accompanied with a sore throat, very tired, lighheaded, and have experienced strange floating things in my eyes today - these symptoms come and go and have done for a number of years. I am a female aged 35.

Hi,

The lower abdominal pain indicates colitis which in turn gives bad breath. Breathing difficulty with sore throat and other symptoms are recent and may indicate viral or bacterial infection of throat and respiratory system. All these in turn can give lightheadedness and fatigue and weakness. Hence I would advise you advise you the following in such a situation:
- Get stool tests done or 3 consecutive days
- Tests of blood
- CT scan of abdomen
- Colonoscopy and biopsy if needed
All these will give a probable primary cause that is causing bad breath called as foetor in medical language
- Also get a clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations of the recent problems and get treated symptomatically and specifically as found

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
