Your description of clinical symptoms are very unclear. However, if it is recurrent sore throat that is affecting your life style, then this answer could help you.
Tonsillectomy - a surgery performed to remove tonsils, is done in case of chronic tonsillitis with recurrent attacks of sore throat - usually five to six attacks in a year for 2 consecutive years.
Anyways, you need to visit an ENT specialist who has to thoroughly examine you before suggesting you the surgery.
