Digestion Issues, Advised Nexpro. Is This Effective?

I have been having food digestion problem for the past 4 months. Everytime i will have my food, i get food indigestion problem, i do burp a lot. i took omeprazole for 10days n i had comfort. i took consult from another doctor who refered me to take NEXPRO RD 40 will it be fine to start this medication and its efficacy, seeking your advice, thank you

Thanks for writing your query.

Nexpro RD contains Esmaperazole and Domperidone and can be used for relief of your symptoms.

In addition to the above mentioned medication, you should also follow some precautions like :-
1. Donot eat very fast or donot talk while eating as this result in swallowing more air with your food, resulting in fullness of abdomen after meals and increased burping
2. Avoid gas producing foods like peas, legumes, etc.
3. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
4. Donot miss a meal.
5. Avoid cigarette and alcohol.

So, you can start with your medication as adviced by your doctor and also follow healthy lifestyle and good eating habbits.

Also get yourself investigated for H.pylori, a common cause for the symptoms mentioned by you.
