Dear Doctor,
I am a woman, 50 years old. I am currently getting follow up on an ovarian cyst. I now notice that my tongue is discolored, kind of a greenish/brown. Do I need to get my tongue biopsied? My doctor is now sending me paperwork for blood work for a CA-125. She wants to schedule surgery to remove the cyst and take a closer look around. Also, I quit smoking on May 15th, but admit to using electronic cigarettes. Can this be the reason for the discoloration of my tongue?
