Discomfort And Pain Below Chin, Difficulty In Swallowing. Should I Meet An ENT Or A Dentist?
I have been having discomfort, pain below my chin, (not a jaw pain) for about two weeks now. It is hard to explain but if I tilt my head back it feels tight and painfull. Also when swallowing I feel the pain at that one spot only. I don't have any swelling. I do have tmj (only on right side) but don't know if that can cause what I am feeling. Discomfort gets better at times but its there most of the time. Can it be some kind of infection? No fever present. I do have a lot of post nasal drainage. What would be the best doctor specialty to see? ENT, dentist..?
