Such symptoms can be caused by inguinal hernia which has reached scrotum. Hernia usually appears when the pressure in abdominal cavity rises. It happens when you cough or lift heavy objects. If the hernia is present, you should be able to feel a lump in the groin or in the scrotum. Pain should aggravate while coughing. Other possible reasons of your pain are strained muscles, variocele.
I suggest you to visit your doctor and have physical examination. In case of hernia possibility, groin and scrotum ultrasound should be performed. If it is a muscle problem, orthopedist should be able to tell with physical examination.
Hope this will help. Regards.
