Discomfort In Leg And Nakle. MRI And Ultrasound Normal. History Of Calf Strain

I strained my left calf almost two years but I'm still experiencing discomfort in my lower leg and ankle. I've done extensive physical therapy but the aches still won't disappear. MRI came out fine as well initially about a year ago but my new doctor has ordered another MRI . I recently had a Doppler ultrasound done and everything looked good. Could I have a really bad knot which is causing the aches? I've noticed that sandals actually makes it worse. Would a knot show up on an MRI?

Current rating Hello ,thanks for writing to us

I have studied your case.

This kind of pain is due compression of nerve due to spinal disc bulge.
Nerve compression leads to radiating pain to arm, which gets aggravated in a particular position.

there can be deep vein thrombosis , you should repeat colour doppler

You need inj methylcobalamine alternate day , muscle relaxant with analgesic by consulting doctor.

Physiotherapy – SWD (Short Wave Diathermy), IFT (Interference Therapy). will help you

Take care,
