Dizziness And Slurred Speech. On Prednisone And Hydroxyzine Hcl For Hives. Possible Vertigo Or Side Effects?
i have been breaking out in hives and my doc put me on prednisone and hydroxyzine hcl 25 mg .... but i have been having dizzyness and slurred speech the more i think about the more i belive this was going on before the change in my medication... i know that the hydroxyzine can cause me to be dizzy i just think i might e something more ...like may be vertigo?

As per the description of your symptoms, Dizziness is due to Hydroxyzine. As Hydroxyzine is highly sedative anti-histamine , it may be the culprit for your concerns. Consult your treating doctor to change it to a newer non-sedative anti histaminic drug.
