Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up early this morning quite dizzy and had trouble walking. I immediately felt nauseaus and had cold and hot sweats but was unable to throw up. I slept more and drank a lot of water and gatorade, again, not throwing up but really dizzy. My vision seems to have blurred too- but no severe head pain- just a stiff neck .
Hello, Thank you for your query. The symptoms of yours need attention right away. It can be an early stage of inflammation of the layers around the brain. The stiff neck is not really a good sign along with the dizziness and blurred vision. You have to be seen by a doctor as early as possible for ruling out any abnormality of the brain or the surrounding meninges. you ll be subjected to a CT scan of the brain and a lumbar puncture apart from all the routines. Go to an A and E dept early, please. Hope you get better soon!
