Dizziness, Fainting, Severe Weight Loss, Bradycardia. History Of Sleeve Gastrectomy. Pacemaker Required?

Dear Dr, my sister is 35 years female, 100kg s ,160cm s, she has had sleeve gastrectomy 3 months ago & lost 35 Kg s since that ( she was 135 Kg s) , but now she is complaining of continous dizziness & faintouts 1week ago , she went to the doctor &he told her that she has bradycardia! ( which he didn t know its couse after investigations) and now he tells her that she need pacemaker

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare Magic,

There are many causes of Bradycardia. First we should find out the reasons for the bradycardia. It will be confirmed by taking ECG,whether she has any heartblocks which is causing the symptoms.

Other things we should consider is

Any drugs she is using for hypertension like beta-blockers?
Any electrolyte disturbances
Thyroid abnormalities
SA node or AV node dysfunction

I suggest you to consult a Cardiologist ASAP.
