Dizziness, Pain While Swallowing, Ulcers In Tongue, Unable To Taste. History Of Family Member Treated For Strep Throat. Conerning?
I a 53 yr old woman in pretty good health and shape. Don't smoke, do drink a couple glasses of red wine in the evenings. My grandson is being treated with antibiotic for strep throat, on Friday Aug 2nd I was feelling dizzy, achy and it hurt a little to swallow. I thought I was sick with strep throat. By Sunday I felt very bad and laid around, my tongue now has several ulcers and I am unable to taste anything. Their is nothing wrong with my throat today Aug 7th (no redness or swelling or puss pockets) but my tongue still has ulcers. 1) What's wrong with me and 2) What can I do for these ulcers and 3) Are they a danger sign

THANKS FOR YOUR QUERY. IT SEEMS THAT THE POSSIBILITY OF STREPTO. INFECTION CAN NOT BE RULED OUT, ALSO TONGUE ULCERS COULD BE APHTHUS ULCERS OR STRESS ULCERS. FOR THESE ULCERS YOU NEED TO TAKE ANTIOXIDANTS LIKE LYCOPENE WITH MULTIVITAMINES. DO BETNESOL GARGLES TO REDUCE PAIN AND INFLAMMATION. AVOID COLD AND JUNK FEEDS, ALCOHOL AND SMOKING MANY THANKS, TAKE CARE.
