Dizziness, Sick Feeling On Head Standing, Turning The Head. How Can I Fix This Problem?

I ve noticed That if I do a head stand or even just turn my head upside down for around 4 seconds I start to feel sick and dizzy. I understand everyone gets a little dizzy but Mine seems to be worse than anyone I know. The reason this bothers me is because I am trying to start yoga and many positions involve my head being upside down. Do you have any recommendations on how to fix this problem?

I went through your description. I feel you should have mentioned your age and other physical conditions. If there is no physical problems, then you should not worry.
Simple dizzyness, as you are aware, is very common. But you feel that you have more of it in intensity. The basic reason for the dizziness is imbalance. The fluid inside your ear is keeping your balance, and when it is swirled or disturbed, that creates imbalance or dizziness for some seconds and then dies down. There are so many other reasons which may not be worth mentioning here.

Your yoga trainer is supposed to be trined in these imbalance aspect. He should be able to clear your problem. Or else, if you cannot tolerate, do consult a general physician for further advice.
