Dizziness, Vomiting And Pain After Head Being Hit. Have Nausea. Concerned
Hi, Yesterday, a 5=pound box fell on top of my head from 6 or seven feet. I felt so dizzy that time and I felt like throwing up after a few minutes. It hurt a bit but it subsided. Now I still feel nauseous and hurting a bit inside my right eye, and some spots around my head. I also feel some sort of runny nose but it is inside and I am swallowing bit of fluids inside every minute.
Hi thanks for your question.
You are having runny nose and swallowing some fluid every minute along with dizziness and nausea following hit on your head by a box.Don't waste any more time rush to ER and get your CT scan skull done. Most probably your having CSF rhinorrhea (leak of brain fluid ) which occur in the fracture base of skull .CTscan will confirm or rule out fracture skull bone and will also rule out any bleeding inside your brain responsible for other symptoms your having.
Hope this answers your question.
