Do Cannabidiol Oil And Cymbalta Interfere With Each Other?

I have lots of nerve pain from injuries & 2 missing discs in my back. Also have tendonitis & carpal tunnel both hands/wrists & bursitis & arthritis in both hips & knees. Am currently on Lyrica & Cymbalta for nerve pain as well as diclofenac for inflammation. My weight has just... ballooned....since the Lyrica, which is aggravating the weight-bearing joints & I m caught in this vicious cycle. Would LOVE to get off the Lyrica in particular- can cbd oil help? Was on the Cymbalta & diclofenac a long time before the Lyrica but they weren t helping enough & that s why it got added. What are drug interactions for cbd oil & Cymbalta? Do I need to stop them all if I go to cbd?

I can understand your concern. Cymbalta is Duloxetine and the drug is a SNRI drug. The drug is used in neuropathic pains and help to relieve the chronic pain conditions. You have been taking Cymbalta and Lyrica for neuropathic pain and have increased weight. If Lyrica is causing the weight gain then the drug can be reduced in doses gradually in consultation of your doctors.

Cannabidiol oil is a cannabis derivative drug and the drug has been found to be very useful in pain conditions. The drug is safe and have no significant interactions with Cymbalta. You can start to use the drug without any fear. Don't forget to discuss with your doctor before making any change in prescription.
