Do Gynaset And Prevent N Tablets Have The Same Composition?
Hi doctor my family doctor suggested me gynacet tablets for me in 10 monts back for delayed periods.it is good for me. But I have the same period delayed problem with last 2 months . the hcg urine test was negative. So she suggested this time prevent-n tablets for me. My question is the 2 types of tablets are worked the same?
Both Gynaset and Prevent N contains the same preparation, norethisterone, a female natural sex hormone called progesterone that is used to help in maintaining the growth as well as shedding of the womb lining and treat menstrual problems such as delayed, painful or heavy bleeding during periods, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, premenstrual syndrome or PMS etc. These medications should be taken in the doses and duration as directed by the prescribing doctor. Before start or stop taking this medication, you should inform your doctor first. Without your doctor's permission, you should not start or stop taking this medication.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
