Do I Require Anti Rabies Shot After A Puppy Bite, Who Died Next Day?
Dear Doctor, I have a dog bite from a puppy 3 months old and the puppy died the next day. Doctor advised 4 injuctions of vaccine on 4 days and gave me the first shot and TT. But, anti rabies serum is not given. Is there any danger if the anti rabies serum is not injected?

Anti rabies vaccine is given as one each on days 0,3 7, and 14 .
Whether dog is rabid or not , whether dog is adult or puppy .
I usually advise vaccine ( anti rabies vaccine ) even dog ( which bitten ) is vaccinated for anti rabies .
In my clinic I have seen so many cases where dog didn't died but patient died due to hydrophobia.
Since 3 months passed in my opinion you must take vaccination at earliest .
