Do Antibiotics Cure Lipoma?
I have a small hard lipoma directly above my navel that is causing extreme pain. Dr s have determined via ultrasound that it is not a hernia and have prescribed antibiotics for infection. Will this break down the lipoma or will it just relieve the pain and swelling?

It has to be removed surgically.
Medicines may reduce the infection and associated inflammation.
