Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

1. Two hormones that increase your cholesterol and TG are low thyroid hormones ( hypothyroidism) and high cortisol levels (Cushing syndrome - which is a rare disease)
2.If I were your treating physician I would have suggested a thyroid function tests and if normal will restart cholesterol medication. Most of the cholesterol disease you have to continue medications

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you
