Do Headaches And Sore Throat From Ingesting Bathroom Cleaner Need Medical Intervention?

I have ingested some bathroom cleaner. It was around 2 hours ago, but I ve just started to feel strange. My head hurts and my throat is really sore. I didn t have much, which is why i didn t call an ambulance, but I was just wondering if further medical attention would be necessary?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello, ingestion of bathroom cleaner is definitely a matter to be attended in emergency, depends on how much amount you had, guessing it was by mistake or even with intentions then i advice you to go to ER asap and get yourself checked although its more than 2 hours.Do not wait till the situation to turn into worst, take someone with you or call for medical help at home.what chemicals the cleaner had is also important when you ll be treated so take the chemical with you to hospital,it ll help the doctors to give you proper treatment that is required now.
