Hi , I am non diabetic but recently been partying a lot on alcohol and non veg food, today I just checked my fps it was 163 and post meal 2 hrs 127, do I have prediabetes or can modify my life style to avoid diabetes complication. Thanks, by by the way iam 180 CMS & 105 kgs Well built big mate guy.
Hi there, your blood sugar fasting 163 is high and comes under definition of diabetic( 100- 125 is pre-diabetic and 126 or more is diabetic) but as you have mentioned that recently you are partying a lot, you are also overweight BMI- 32 and your 2 hour pp is normal so you can try life style modification and diet control and weight reduction. This will be definitely decrease your blood sugar level. I would advise you to consult your physician and also get your HBA1c, lipid profile, Blood pressure and other test related to diabetes. You should repeat your blood sugar and HBA1c after 1 month and can review with me. Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
