Do I Need MRI Of Brain If Suffering From Left Sided Facial Pain?
I m a 62 yer old female in great health. Blood pressure 112/76. I ve been on glaucoma watch for over 20 years now. I just saw my opthalmologist and my eye pressure was 14 and 15. At that time, I was not experiencing any pain over my left eye. Just a couple weeks ago I started feeling a slight pain over my left eye, down to left ear and the left side of my neck. The pain is very slight; I m not taking any pain killers. I have a family history of brain aneurysms and about ten years ago, I had an MRA of the brain. The surgeon who operated on my sister s brain (she had three aneurysms) , wanted all family members to have an MRA of the brain. Does this pain on the left side of my face sound serious? Should I get another MRA of my brain since the last one was about ten years ago?
