Do Molars Cause Reactions Like Pain And Feeling Uncomfortable Without Medicine?
I have a 20 month year old baby.... she been running a fever for 4 to 5 days now. Her Dr. says its due to her molers coming out... I've noticed her face looks like its chaped but its not. She is getting redness around her lower cheeks/chin... should I be concerned? Should I take her back to the Dr.? As long as she has Tylenol she is fine but once it wears off of course she is very uncomfortable. She was up almost all night last night just moaning/crying .. seemed like if she was in some sort of pain... do molers cause these reactions?
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
By what you quote I feel she is having a viral illness. You can treat fever with Paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly if fever is > 100F.
Chapping of cheeks could be due to eczema. Apply any moisturizing lotion and if no benefit, see you pediatrician.
