Do Post Nasal Drip Or Acid Reflux Cause Blocked Feeling In Throat?

I've had this feeling that something is stuck in my throat for at least three years. I've had my right tunsil removed, thinking maybe it was tonsil stone. I also have post nasal drip and maybe acid reflux disease. Can this feeling be ralated to any of thease conditions?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain feeling of something struck in throat can be due to a number of reasons like post nasal drip that can lead to Chronic throat infection and it can cause swelling as well as congestion in the throat, acid reflux can also lead to ulceration and scar formation in throat..
Other causes can be Esophagitis, esophageal webs, diverticulitis, hiatal hernia and tumors compressing the oesophagus from outside..
The exact cause can be ruled out after a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Upper G. I endoscopy, Esophageal scan, x Ray, Barium swallow etc..
Treatment with depend on cause..
As of now do warm saline gargles and taking a soft diet and more of liquids can help..
