Do Protein Supplements Affect Liver Blood Tests?

hi good morning my SGOT is high. It was 140. My 1st blood test show 31 and my bilirubin was 2.4 so my Dr ask me to do retest. When the result out the bilirubin result was fine it was 1.2 but my SGOT was elevate until 140 from 31. I got take protein drink after my 1st blood test and that only difference in my diet. Is that will be Couse?

Your sgot level is high. So your liver function test is abnormal.

For that following further work up is needed....
_USG abdomen
_serum viral marker hbsag, Anti HCV testing done
_alcohol history should be ruled out

These above following causes should be ruled out as they are common causes.

If no cause identified than will do further work up
