Do Two Lines In An HIV Test Indicate HIV Infection?
hi i have some question regarding about HIV. Whether HIV or AIDS both are same. my friend she went for doctor for hiv test that doctor told her she is infected with hiv he took her blood and tested in instrument and told her she is infected is this true if you got two lines in that person the person will be infected with HIV? please help me

Thank you for your contact to health care magic. I understand your concern. If I am your doctor I suggest you that HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome, is a virus. While AIDS is a syndrome caused by HIV. If you have two band on HIV cassette that means you are reactive for HIV. It is adviced to start ART for your boy friend.
