Does Acebutolol Interfere With Atorvastatin And Clopidogrel?
My 92 year old mother just took acebutol (200 milligram tablet she usually takes it around 5pm. It s 11pm (around 11pm) she tookatorvastatin 40mg and Clopidogrel 75 mg. As she s supposed to. Will the acebutol pill interfere with the other medicine?
Atorvastatin is statin group of hypolipidemic drug, Clopidogrel is antiplatelet drug and Acebutolol is a betablocker. As such it does not have any impact on high density lipids, hence no need to worry. It doesn't interact with Clopidogrel too.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
