I was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer and prescribed Besivance. All the online research shows that Besivanve is for bacterial conjunctivitis while Levoflaxicin is preferred for the treatment of corneal ulcers. Why would the doctor choose one over the other? I feel it's for the kickbacks because he had a sample available.
HI Thank for asking to HCM No antibiotic will cure the corneal ulcer, the nature of ulcer is important, if it is due the infection then it will get alright with the eradication of infection, still I would advise you to have expert opinion from eye specialist, have nice day.
