Does Clonazepan Cause Twitches In Body?
Thank you...........my husband Joe is on Clonazepan.............and has been for quite a while............however in the last few weeks he is experiencing twitches during the night and this is really making him worry.........he does have quite a few and he also is on a lot of heart medication plus synthroid etc.............could the clonazepan be causing the twitches........................he also is on zoloft..........................

Clonazepam is unlikely to cause the muscle twitches.
Muscle twitching can be seen as a side effect of Synthyroid (Levothyroxin) especially for people who also take medication BP lowering medication like Lisinopril. He needs to consult his treating physician to adjust the dose of Levothyroxine to prevent this side effect.
