Does Cortisone Shot Cause Persistent Headache And Rapid Heartbeat?
I had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago tomorrow....during sedation I received cortisone shot in both heals both knees and right hip......I have had a pressure headache ever since with rapid heart beat around 105 beats per minute with up and down blood pressure .......what can I do.....

The headache is a known possible side effect of cortisone injections, and the pain could raise blood pressure and heart rate, but after two weeks the cortisone would be totally out of your system, so I suggest you have your doctor check this out. In the meantime, were you my patient, I'd suggest ibuprofen for the headache
