Does Fluorouracil Cream Help In Treating Red Discolored Spots On The Face?

Hello, My dermatologist is putting me on Flouracil cream 2x daily for 14 days to treat precancerous cells on the face (basi cell). Will the cream have any overall good effects after the healing such as removing existing dark or red spots or raised areas. Just trying to find another positive besides the most important and that is to treat the skin cancer. Thanks Scott
