Does Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen Causes Low Blood Pressure Levels?

my husband is taking hydroco/acetam 5-325mg for severe back pain untill he goes in the morning for an mri and X-rays his b/p drop down to 60/40 he was passing out i almost took him to ER but after taking some juice then coffee with milk he started feeling better.. does this medication tends to drop his b/p this low ?

Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. This are all side effects of hydrocodone acetaminophen.To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.
