Does Invokana Lead To Painful Spinal Stenosis On Hips?

I have very bad spinal stenosis on the left hip and down the leg. My doctor took me off Metformin and it has gotten much better after 5 mos., but the new medicine Invokana has made it come back severly. Can you tell me if you thing these meds are actually causing this horrible pain?

Metformin and Invokana (canagliflozin) used to treat diabetes is highly unlikely to cause such type of unilateral pain.
I would advice my patient a pain specialist consultation. Apart from this will advice tight glycemic control and physiotherapy for pain.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
