Does Levothyroxine Cause Fatigue?

I am on Levothyroxine for Hypothyrodism and was checking side effects. I have noticed in the last several years that I get tired easily doing any kind of work outside. I have attributed it to my advancing age (66), just wondering if anything I am taking could cause this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
getting tired easily may be a side effect of levothyroxine but it's rare,
I suggest you to controll your hormonal markers ,TSH,fT3,fT4, to see if you are taking the appropriate doze of levothyroxine and to rule out a hipothyroidism from taking a low doze of levothyroxine .
I find this answer helpful
